That is why Muminul was dropped

Former captain Mominul Haque could not make the XI in the second match of the series against West Indies. Bangladesh Test specialist Mominul’s bat has not smiled in the last few matches. He scored 0 and 4 in the first match of the series against the West Indies.

Earlier, he scored 2 runs in the first match of the two-match Test series against the Lankans at home and 9 and 0 runs in the second match respectively.

He has lost his place in the team due to his consistently poor performance.

Muminul last touched a double-digit home run in Tests against New Zealand at the Hegel Oval earlier this year. After scoring 0 in the first innings in that match, he was able to score 36 runs in the second innings.

He then scored 0 and 2 in the first match of the two-match series against South Africa in March. He made 6 runs in the first innings of the second match. He made 5 runs in the second innings.
